Shiraz Ashraf
Field Senior Advisor to the Counselor, USAID
Shiraz Ashraf serves as a Field Senior Advisor to the Agency Counselor Clinton White, with the U.S. Agency for International Development. He is Pakistani National and is part of USAID’s Foreign Service National workforce. He focuses on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility and especially working with underserved and underrepresented communities; collaboration and strengthening local partnerships; and governance and accountability. He has been working with the U.S. Government since 2002 and is a proud recipient of Employee of the Year Award in 2010.
As one of the authors of the USAID localization Policy, Shiraz works with local organizations to strengthen relationships. Shiraz holds an MSc in Public Policy from School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
