Shabnam Kabir
Program Assistant, Health Unit, International Rescue Committee
Shabnam is a Program Assistant in the Health Unit of the International Rescue Committee (IRC). She graduated from the George Washington University in 2019 with a BA in International Affairs and recently earned a MA in Global Affairs from George Mason University, with a focus on Global Governance and Public Management.
Throughout her academic career, Shabnam interned for various NGOs and nonprofits, including SID-W where she supported event planning, membership and communication initiatives.
Beyond the IRC, Shabnam is a member of UNA-NCA and is committed to advocating for refugees and promoting awareness of the core principles of the UN. She is originally from Azerbaijan and Bangladesh.
