At USAID, Charlin produces learning products and coordinates Agency-wide initiatives to build capacity and empower the workforce to effectively work with the private sector. Prior to this role, Charlin managed learning platforms and communities of practice for USAID-funded women’s economic empowerment and economic growth activities at Banyan Global, the Training Resources Group, and the QED Group. Before her work in international development, Charlin supported occupational development activities at the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, and voting rights research at the United States Justice Department Civil Rights Division. She has a Master’s Degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from Arcadia University, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and a Certificate in Social Impact Partnerships from Georgetown University. Charlin is an alumnus of the International Career Advancement Program (ICAP), the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) Emerging Leaders Program, and the North Carolina Governor’s Page Program.
