Amanda Nepomuceno currently works for IREX where she supports the startup, planning, and implementation of a portfolio of international virtual exchange, higher education, and early grade education programs.
Amanda has spent over a decade in East and Southeast Asia, with professional experience in the private sector and higher education space in The Philippines and The People’s Republic of China. Prior to joining IREX, she previously worked for organizations such as Peking University, the Johns Hopkins University SAIS, and a Hong Kong technology startup, specializing in strategic communications and people-to-people exchanges. She also served as a secondary school educator in the Philippines Department of Education.
Amanda holds an MA in International Relations from Xiamen University, graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, and completed a one-year intensive Chinese language program. Amanda has professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese, Tagalog, and Kapampangan.
