The Mid-career Itch: Career Transitions in International Development (Mid-Career)

Some have called 2022 the year of the Great Resignation. Did you know the average person will change careers 5-7 times during their working life? And approximately 30% of the total workforce will change jobs every 12 months?

Career changes and transitions can be complex. There are lots of reasons why people choose a change – whether it's pursuing a passion, looking for a change, family obligations, or other unexpected things that life throws your way. Sometimes, it requires careful planning and thinking, but sometimes a great opportunity or challenge comes your way that pushes you in a new direction. Join this panel discussion to hear those that took a leap into trying something different in their career – why did they change, what were the challenges, and what advice do they have for others facing a mid-career itch.
